Take the Fight to Your State and Local Public Health Programs
Problem:
The DEI cancer has metastasized far beyond state government, state schools, and public hospitals and now thrives in every corner of the medical industry, including the 3,000+ state and local public health programs.
Solution:
– Expand existing laws and legislative efforts to eliminate identity politics in your state and local public health programs, including schools of public health and state/county public health programs.
– Consider taking the funds formerly dedicated to DEI and repurposing them to create more residency positions and help generate more interest among the truly talented to join the medical profession.
Why this works:
DEI anywhere in public health, even at local clinics, is a threat to merit and evidence-based medicine and eventually will cost lives. Eliminating racial discrimination in medicine means eliminating all of it.
