Prohibit Gender Ideology Questions on State Medical Forms and Records
Problem:
Many medical facilities have intake forms for children that are steeped in radical gender ideology, not biological sex.
– Instead of asking whether a child is a male or female, these forms offer a multitude of possible answers and even go so far as to suggest that sex is not biological but merely something that is “assigned at birth.”
– Once created, these forms and records persist essentially forever. Detransitioners routinely complain they have to endure offensive questions from medical staff relating to answers given on forms years ago when the detransitioners were under the influence of radical gender activists.
Solution:
Install a new law that all medical forms and records must reflect biological sex only, and prohibit any radical gender ideology questions on intake forms for minors. Require the medical facilities in your state to adopt standards that reflect biological sex only.
Why this works:
Language matters. Your constituents will strongly support your stance that there are only two sexes, male and female, and that anything else is unscientific, ideology-based nonsense. You already know that language manipulation is used by gender enthusiasts to control and shape public debate and is designed to help them impose and enforce their radical agenda. Acquiescence will result in defeat. Take action against this insidious effort by insisting that the language employed in medicine as it relates to sex and pediatric care is returned to the universal norms that prevailed in science and medicine before the gender activists initiated their pernicious, anti-reason assault.
