Ending Noxious DEI Practices
Demand Compliance Certification from Hospitals and Managed Medicaid Organizations (MMOs)
Problem
Because hospitals and MMOs often dominate the medical landscape in your state, they may be staffed with DEI activists who push divisive and discriminatory practices surreptitiously, even going so far as to skirt anti-DEI laws. These institutions are also often engaged in promoting pediatric sex transitions.
Solution
Hospitals and MMOs in your state rely heavily on public funding, much of which you control. Pass a law that every hospital and MMO in your state must certify compliance with state laws banning or restricting DEI practices, as well as state laws banning or restricting pediatric sex transitions, to keep their licenses to operate (hospitals) and to keep their state Medicaid contracts (MMOs), or else forfeit public funding. Ensure the law extends to emancipated minors. Require the subject facilities to change their performance standards and stop their promotion of gender ideology. Require the performance standards to be evidence-based and focused on quality health care, not ideology. Failure to certify compliance would result in the loss of their license to operate (hospitals), cancellation of their state Medicaid contracts (MMOs), or forfeiture of public funding.
Why this works
In the absence of a proper enforcement mechanism, DEI proponents will try to skirt any law you have passed that bans or restricts DEI practices, as well as any law you have passed that bans or restricts pediatric sex transitions. A law that allows you to revoke a license to operate, cancel a state contract, and cut public funding is the best means to achieve real accountability.
Do No Harm action.
Every day, our healthcare system faces threats from radical ideologies that compromise patient care and medical integrity.
